verantis.online stores nothing on your device: no cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no IndexedDB, and no third-party scripts, fonts or images.

1. What we store on your device

Nothing. Our web server sends no Set-Cookie headers, and our only script, which adds campaign parameters to partner links, does not read or write any browser storage. We use no analytics, no advertising pixels, no social-media plugins, no embedded videos or maps, and no fingerprinting. Fonts are the ones already installed on your device, and every image, stylesheet and script is served from verantis.online itself.

2. Why there is no cookie banner

EU law (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, implemented in each member state, together with the GDPR) requires your consent before a website stores information on your device, or reads information from it, unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. We do neither, so there is nothing to consent to. A banner would only ask you to approve something that does not happen.

3. How to check for yourself

You do not have to take our word for it. In most desktop browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari with the Develop menu enabled):

  1. Open this site, then open the developer tools with F12, or Ctrl+Shift+I (Cmd+Option+I on a Mac).
  2. Cookies and storage: go to the Application tab (Chrome, Edge) or the Storage tab (Firefox, Safari). Under Cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage and IndexedDB, the entry for verantis.online is empty.
  3. Network requests: go to the Network tab and reload the page. Every request goes to verantis.online; none goes to another domain.
  4. Response headers: click any request in the Network tab and look at the response headers. There is no Set-Cookie header.

4. When you leave our site

If you click a partner link, you leave verantis.online. The affiliate network and the advertiser’s website may then set their own cookies, and ask for your consent where required, under their own cookie policies. Those cookies are theirs, not ours, and we cannot read them.

5. Changes

If we ever start using cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
